How to Re-authenticate Inboxes

Mailflow will lose permission to an inbox if there were changes in the security settings of the inbox, the email account is no longer active, app access has been revoked, or there was a security check by the email provider.

When this happens, the inbox will stop sending auto-warmer emails.
To let users know, we send an email notification that the inbox needs to be re-authenticated.

Google & Custom Inboxes

To re-authenticate a Google or Custom inbox simply go to Email addresses → Select Inbox → Receiving tab → Make sure that IMAP settings and password are correct → Test Receiving

Outlook Inbox

To re-authenticate an Outlook inbox, head to Email addresses → Select Inbox → Continue with Microsoft or Get a shareable link
